United Family Healthcare (UFH) was founded in Beijing in 1997 by Roberta Lipson, introducing internationally accredited, patient-centered medicine to China. For nearly 30 years, UFH has grown from China’s first foreign-invested private hospital into a nationwide network of hospitals and clinics — a trusted name for expatriate families, Chinese patients seeking international standards, and medical travelers from across Asia, the Middle East, Africa and beyond.

More than 600 full-time physicians and medical staff from 25+ countries and regions deliver care in English and many other languages. Since 2019, UFH has been part of New Frontier Group, led by CEO Carl Wu (吴启楠).
