Recently, a delegation from Moscow State University of Sport (МГАФКСиТ) visited Qingdao United Family Hospital for a tour and exchange centred on sports rehabilitation, athletic medicine and cross-border health services.
The two sides held preliminary discussions on the possibilities for future cooperation in areas such as the introduction of rehabilitation technologies, athlete health management and academic exchange visits.

During the visit, the delegation toured the hospital’s Rehabilitation Medicine Department and related clinical departments, gaining a detailed understanding of its diagnostic and treatment systems for sports-injury rehabilitation, post-surgical functional recovery, and chronic-disease wellness care.
The Russian experts shared mature experience in comprehensive athlete care (УМО) and sports rehabilitation, and expressed a willingness to build a cooperation platform together with Chinese medical institutions.
Cooperation outlook: deepening all-round exchange
In the future, the two sides hope to explore concrete, implementable projects in areas such as joint rehabilitation laboratories, clinician training, and the reception of cross-border patients for rehabilitation.
Speaking on behalf of the hospital, President Yan noted that this exchange will serve as a starting point to continuously expand the hospital’s international medical-service capabilities — carrying out all-round exchange and learning across clinical care, teaching and research, and providing higher-quality rehabilitation support for athletes visiting China and for cross-border patients.
